Duncan Lord of Mormaer was born in Atholl, Perth, Scotland and is the son of Duncan of Dule. He married Unknown and had the following child:

Crinen "The Thane" (Grimus) Mormaer of Atholl and Lord of the Isles was born 975 in Atholl, Perth, Scotland and died 1045 in Dunkeld, Perth, Scotland. He was Slain at Dunkeld, Perth, Scotland. He married Bethoc (Beatrix) Princess of Scotland in 1000 Atholl, Perth, Scotland. Bethoc was born 984 in Atholl, Perthshire, or Angus, Scotland. Crinen "The Thane" and Bethoc had the following child:

Duncan I, the Gracious, King of Scotland was born 1001 in Atholl, Perth, Scotland and died August 14, 1040 in Iona, near Elgin. At some stage he had inherited the kingship of Strathclyde and was the last monarch to be called 'King of Strathclyde'. This kingship was probably subject to the king of Scotia from the early tenth century. He attacked Durham in 1039 on a looting expedition but was beaten off with heavy losses. Two rivals for the throne were Thorfinn and Macbeth. Malcolm III, Caennmor King of Scotland was born 1031 in Atholl, Perth, Scotland and died November 13, 1093 in Alnwick Castle, Northumberland, England. Asceded April 25, 1058, Scone Abbey, Perthshire, Scotland. He is the son of Duncan I The Gracious King of Scotland born 1001 in Atholl, Perth, Scotland and Aelflaed (Sibyl Fitzsiward) of Northumbria . He was married 1068 in Dunferline Abbey, Atholl, Perth Scotland to Saint Margaret "Atheling" Princess Of England and Queen of Scotland. She was born 1045 in Hungary and is the daughter of Edward Atheling The Exile King of England who was born before 1016 in Wessex and died 1057 in London and of Agatha (daughter of Henry II Emperor) born 1025. David I, The Saint, King of Scotland was born 1084 in Scotland and died May 24, 1153 in Carlisle, Cumberland, England. On his accession he reorganized the kingdom on Norman lines. He also founded many religious houses. He supported his Neice, Matilda, in England against Stephen. This resulted in his heavy defeat at the battle of the Standard in 1138. He was also the Earl of Huntingdon. He united Alba and Strathclyde. He was also the Earl of Northampton. Popularly reputed as a saint. His feast day is May 24th. 7th in the House of Dunkeld. He was married in Scotland to Matilda (Maud) Huntington Queen of Scotland in 1113/14 in Scotland. Matilda was born 1072 in and died April 23, 1130 in Scotland and was buried in Scone, Perthshire, England. Matilda is the daughter of Waltheof II, Earl of Huntington (the son of Bjorn) and of Judith De Lens Boulogne (the daughter of Lambert De Lens and Adelaid Princess of Normandy). David I reorganized the Scottish kingdom along Norman lines. The youngest son of MALCOLM III and his English queen, St. MARGARET OF SCOTLAND, he was educated in Norman England, where his sister Edith had married King Henry I. By his marriage to Maud de Senlis he acquired the English earldoms of Northampton and Huntington. David ruled southern Scotland as earl during the reign of his brother, Alexander I, whom he succeeded in 1124. As king, he intervened in English affairs to aid his niece, Queen MATILDA, against King STEPHEN but was defeated at the Battle of the Standard near Northallerton in 1138. During David's reign Normans and Flemings settled in Scotland, and such institutions as the sheriffdom, the justiciary, and the jury were developed. David built numerous castles as centers of royal authority and created a number of towns. He also founded many religious houses and established a system of diocesan bishops. He was succeeded by his grandson, Malcolm IV. David I The Saint King of Scotland and Matilda Maud of Huntington and had the following child:

Prince of Scotland Henry, Earl of Huntingdon also Earl of Northumberland was born 1114 in Scotland and died June 12, 1152 in Scotland. Asceded 1136. He was buried in Kelso, Roxburghshire, Scotland. He married in 1139 in England to Ada De Warenne born 1120 in Warwick, Warwickshire, England. They had the following child:

Earl David of Huntingdon was born 1144 in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England and died June 17, 1219 in Jedburgh, Roxburghshire, Scotland. The Baillols, Bruces, and Stuarts descended from him. He was buried in Abbey Of Saltre, Huntingtonshire, England. He married August 26, 1190 to Maud of Chester De Keveliock born 1171. She is the daughter of Sir Hugh De Kevelioc 3rd Earl of Chester and Bertrade De Montfort and the grand daughter of Sir Ranulph De Guetnon 2nd Earl of Chester and Maud De Caen. Earl David and Maud of Chester are the parents of:

Margaret of Huntington married Allan De Galloway Lord of Galloway in 1209. The are the parents of:

Section Four

Eochaid IV, The Venemous, King of Dalriada King of Scotland was born 747 in Scotland and died 819. He married Fergusa (Urgusia) of Dalriada who was born 755 in Scotland and is the daughter of Fergus King of Dalriada and Wrold and had the following child:

Alpin MacEochaid King of Dalriada King of Scotland was born 778 in Scotland and died July 20, 834 when he was slain Galloway, Scotland while fighting the Picts. When he was King of Dalriada in Western Scotia about 840 he conquered Pictavia about 842. He became King of Kintyre in 843. He married Unknown and had the following child:

Kenneth I, King of Scotland Macalpin was born 810 in Scotland and died February 6, 858/859 in Iona, Argyll, Scotland. He was Regarded as first King of Scotland, indeed the man who created the nation, since he inherited the title King of Scots from his father in 841 and then became King of the Picts though we do not know how he achieved this. We do know that from about 843 he was accepted in Pictland. He invaded Lothian several times and moved the centre of religion in Scotland from Iona to Dunkeld. Reign 863 - 877. Burke calls him Kenneth II. Kings of Picts & Alba. King of Galloway. In 843 Kenneth was able by conquest to overcome the rulers of the Picts and to bring about a union that was to prove permanent. It seems likely that the weakening effects of Viking raids contributed to the defeat of the Picts." Kenneth I, King of Scotland Macalpin married Unknown and had the following child:

Constantine LI , King of Scotland I was born 836 in Scotland and died 877 in Inverdovat, Forgan, Fifeshire, Scotland when he was slain in battle with Norsemen. He married Unknown and had the following child:

Donald II Dasachtach, King of Scotland and King of Alba was born 862 in Scotland and died between 900 - 903 in Forres, Morayshire, Scotland. Not much is known about him though he did score a victory over the Norsemen in battle where he died at Forres. He ius buried at Isle of Iona. He married Unknown and had the following child:

Malcolm I, King of Scotland was 897 in Scotland and died 954 in Fordoun, Kincardineshire, Scotland. He was killed men of Moray in battle. Moray was an ancient Pictish province which had a reputation for rebellion until the days of William I. His reign was 889 - 900. He died in 958, was King of Scotland in 943, acquired Cumbria in 945 from Edmund, the Saxon king of England. On the abdication of Constantine III., Malcolm succeeded to the throne in 944. In 945, Edmund, the Saxon king of England, ceded Cumberland and part of Westmoreland to him, on condition that he would defend that northern territory, and become the ally of England. Edred, the brother and successor of Edmund, accordingly applied for, and obtained the aid of Malcolm against Anlaf, King of Northumberland, which latter country he wasted, and carried off the inhabitants with their cattle. In the time of Malcolm I., the people of the province of Moray, in the northeast of Scotland, were a mixed race, formed of Scandinavian settlers, with Scottish and Pictish Celts. Turbulent and rebellious, they were continually at war with the sovereign, and an insurrection having occurred under Cellach, maormer of Garmorgan, Malcolm marched north to reduce them to obedience. He killed Cellach, but was, some time thereafter, assassinated in 953 at Ulurn after a reign of nine years. He was succeeded by Indulph, the son of Constantine II., and Indulph had as his successor, Duff, the son of Malcolm, who ascended the throne in 961. Malcolm I King of Scotland married Unknown and had the following child:

Kenneth II was born 932 in Scotland and died 995 in Finela's Castle, Fettercairn, Scotland. He paid homage to Edgar of England, receiving the province of Lothian. Said to have been betrayed by a woman and murdered in Kincardine Castle . Buried Isle of Iona. He married Princess of Leinster and had the following child:

Malcolm II was born 958 in Scotland and died November 25, 1034 in Glamis Castle, Forfarshire, Scotland being killed by his kinsmen. He was buried at Isle of Iona, Argyllshire, Scotland. For the ten years after his father's murder he fought to gain supremacy over rivals which he succeeded in doing by 1005. The English king being preoccupied by raids by Danes, in 1006 Malcolm ravaged Northumberland and besieged Durham for St.Cuthbert's treasure but was defeated by Earl Uhtred of Bamburgh. Around 1018 his victory at the Battle of Carham secured Lothian for Scotland, permanently. Malcolm II married Aelgifu Queen of Scotland in 983. She was born 962 in Scotland and is the daughter of Sigurd born 930 in Scotland. Malcolm II and Aelgifu Queen of Scotland had the following child:

Bethoc (Beatrix) Princess of Scotland was born 984 in Atholl, Perthshire, or Angus, Scotland and was the Heiress of Scone. She married in the year 1000 at Atholl to Crinen "The Thane" (Grimus) Mormaer of Atholl who was born 975 in Atholl, Perth, Scotland and is the son of Duncan Lord of Mormaer and grandson of Duncan of Dule.
